Help, Tresping Offense?

Alright, well basically me and my friend went out at night and rang some guys door bell a couple of times and left, he came after us in his truck, called the cops and they arrested us. They called our parents(we're 15 btw) and had them sign papers saying they knew we were arrested.They said we could go to prison for the rest of our lives for Burglary and Entry(We rang a door bell, seriously??). Basically what could happen to us now, this is in the state of south carolina?, we have no prior offenses or anything on our record, we have good grades, all A's/B's.
