Opinions on bits and bridles?

I definitely would start with a loose ring snaffle. Teach the horse to have a soft, sensitive mouth with the least severe. I trained my Clydesdale with a loose ring snaffle when she was less than a year old. It was suggested that she be started in a slow twist snaffle. To this day she is using a loose ring snaffle and has a super sensitive mouth.
