My daughter is 5 years old and her dad is a complete deadbeat. Avoids childsupport at all cost. 2006 Grand Prix GT Transmission?

I have an 06 Grand Prix GT Supercharged with 45,000 miles on it. Ive noticed whenever im on the highway and i slow down considerably but not completely and I go to accelerate again, it almost jerks so to speak when I am trying to accelerate. Also, the other day I was getting into my car, I put it in reverse, I backed up and when I put it into drive to take off, it like sputtered or jerked and then started taking off. Does anyone know what this sounds like or have you experienced the same problem? I was wondering if maybe it could be the transmission? I have a feeling if I take it to the dealership they wont be able to duplicate the problem because it is intermittent. Thanks for your help!

Hi, there are two positions available: 1. Corresponding Secretary 2. Treasurer Now, I wanted to run for Corresponding Secretary, since it was a simple job and I could at least have on my college resume that I was once part of the executive board. On the other hand, the Treasurer is a much more priveleged job that is looked upon with more respect, unfortunately, it is also time consuming and I might have to stay back an hour or so after school every day, what makes me apprehensive about this is the fact that I have AP subjects and that one or two hours of time a day that I do get to myself will be cut off and I will have a lot of strain. So do colleges really care WHICH position you held on an executive board, or do thay just want to know that you DID hold a position on it. Plus, if I run for treasurer I almosy have a sure shot at winning, but the other candidate for Secretary will be hard to beat and if I lose I will be nothing and be shameful. What should I run for?

What to say to guys at parties?

You didn't mention how old she is. That makes a big difference in essing them. I think these are very good if she is young, which I suspect she is. My favorite is the person. I like how part of the face is shaded. I think she should continue if she likes doing it. You do art first and foremost for yourself. If people like it, that is very nice. However, if they don't, she should just shrug it off and realize that not everyone has the same taste.

Removing smell from car?

I was stupid and didn't empty out the dirty water from my carpet shampooer before I put it in my car, and on the ride home it tipped over. I tried soaking up as much of the water as possible with a towel, but my car still reeks of concentrated cat odor (pee, vomit, etc.). I've tried spraying it with a mixture of water and vinegar, and I took it to the local car vacuum place and vacuumed it out, but nothing is working. With the water all seeped into the seats, how can I get rid of the nasty odor? I can't afford to take it to a professional to have it cleaned out.

My fiance's teacher is messing with his education, I need to know how much of what she's claiming is true.?

My fiance and his little brother are going to a school for students with learning disabilities. Julian (the fiance) is dyslexic and Lucas (the brother) has a high functioning autism. The boys both recieve the McKay scholarship and recieve $7000 a year towards tuition. Last year, while Julian was only 17, the teacher borrowed $1000 from him, and is continuously putting off paying him back. Recently she sent him an email (which she said we misinterpreted) that seemed to put the debt off on him and say that she didn't owe him the money because they didn't pay the full tuitin due at her school, $10,500 per year. When she accepted Julian and Lucas, she knew that this was going to be the case, and she was fine with that knowledge. There are a few other things that were tossed around that don't have real bearing on that part, but the underlying theory is that Julian is not responsible for what she agreed to forfeit when they enrolled and she still owes him the money. Is that right? Also, while we haven't taken action on it, and don't plan to so long as she gets things right from now on, she falsified their transcripts and hasn't yet told the state that Julian is no longer living with his mother and therefore isn't eligible for the scholarship he recieves (she has filed the paperwork for it since his mother did it the first time). We're looking at this as falsifying doents and misappropriation of government funds, in addition to the fact that she still lists a number of other students as still being enrolled in her school when in fact they do not attend. I wrote her an email after she sent Julian the one that we all "misinterpreted" and when she called him afterwards she got angry and said that I was threatening her (I only advised her that if she refused to pay him back we were going to seek legal council and that if she didn't get them on track with school we'd turn her in for her numerous mistakes on the education front), and that we would be the one to get in trouble for the scholarship misappropriation that she files for. What can we do with this?

I just asked a question about an hour or so ago, and my estranged child's father who hadn't contacted me since learning I was pregnant, back in October after he had accused me of ruining his life and abandoned me in our apartment. He sent an email last week claiming he wanted to discuss the matter of the pregnancy and he was only contacting me for the best interest of the child. Well he hasn't responded back. Some people felt I was being too hard and maybe this was his way of reaching out. So, I just sent him another email basically explaining that my contact was on the behalf of the child and that I wouldn't stand in his way of being a father yet I wouldn't stand by if he popped in and out at his convenience. I concluded the email by attaching my latest sonogram which revealed the of the baby. (He didn't know any of this but that's because he never asked) I already kinda feel uneasy about divulging that info as I wasn't trying to serve him this fatherhood badge on a silver platter---but like others said, I'm trying not to make this about my ill feelings.

Virgin Mobile LG Rumor Touch not receiving AT&T texts?

I activated my Rumor Touch on Friday morning and have been able to receive texts from all my friends except those using AT&T. I find that strange because I used to have VM about a year ago and received them just fine. The AT&T friends are getting my texts but I can't get theirs and it sucks because most of my friends use AT&T. I called CS and they keep giving me the run around about 1-3 days and someone will try to fix it. It doesn't sound promising. I ume it's not my phone because I am receiving text messages from every other provider. I decided to change my number to see if it was an issue with the line and that did not do it. My dad is so mean? (a bit of a long rant)?

My dad is on anti depressants since hes been in the war and since i turned into a teenager hes been so much meaner to me. Its just like hes a little kid, hes always trying to start an argument (we're both very argumentative) and its through lots of little things. Normally if nothings wrong then we're completely fine, hes really nice but if he gets annoyed about something he will take it out on me. If someone left crumbs on the side (petty i know) he will make out it was me and have a go at me, even if my mum says it was her he will just say "well make sure you dont do it in the future ok?" and if i dont answer he will keep staring at me and just say "OK?" and i dont realize its such a big deal and just say fine and he sits on his computer for hours in a strop. Hes not all bad like hes really funny when hes nice but when hes missed his pills or hes annoyed about soething he completely takes it out on me. There was one time i remember when i was about 9 or 10 and i was being a bit of a brat and not getting ready for school and i was stood in a doorway for about 15 mins while he was stood in the kitchen and saying why wont you get ready. I just didnt answer and at one point he came up to me really fast and grabbed me by the collar and dragged me up to his face. I remember being scared but still looking blank, i know he felt bad for what he did because he was being really nice after and looking quite sad. I never told my mum because i she always has a go at him when he does something wrong and thought if he ever did it again then i would tell her but he never has. I still hate the way he treats me though, and my things. If i leave something downstairs, no matter what it is he will throw it up stairs and leave it for me to find. I bought a brand new hardbak book and i left it on the chair to read later and he threw it upstairs and it got quite ruined. I asked him and he said to not leave my stuff lying around (on the chair!?!?!). Also things like my laptop charger, freshly washed clothes and my nintendo/phone. Another thing is when my mums not in the house or in the garden or something he says what he likes to me, stuff he wouldnt say in front of my mum that can be quite nasty. I admit sometimes im being quite annoying but i cant help it im a teenager!!! hes a grown man whose taken care of two other children before and now hes taking it all out on me, a 15 year old. Its completly unfair. Whenever hes looking for something and cant find it, he will go in my room (the amout of times hes done this...), even when its completely spotless and will pull everything out likke all of my washing, everything out of my draweres, my wardrobe and also stuff from under my bed. sorry about this huge rant but its so frustrating that he wont even listen sometimes, just now i was leaning on the door downstairs (the door to the kitchen is in halves so we can shut the bottom part only) and he came past (i moved to the side and opened the door for him) and he said "are you trying to stop people ping or something?" and i said no and he just got in a mood. next i went to sit on the sofa and started to watch this program that i liked and another one came on reminder. Why did critics originally complain about The Office (US series)? Are they incompetent or just plain lazy?

Keep in mind lots of critics had only seen that first episode. It was almost completely a recreation of the British pilot. I do like the British version. But if all they'd done was stick with the UK scripts as closely as they did in that first one then those critics would've been right. Because the UK version is shorter you don't get as good a feel for the secondary characters (the Kevins and Creeds of the UK). But I think you get more than enough time to appreciate the main characters. And I really like the way the UK version ended. I like the way the US story has continued, but there's a simplicity to the UK version that is appealing.

How can I change my negative attitude?

I mostly mean in regards to exercise, but any general advice on morphing my outlook on life in general would be great. I'm very prone to depression and illness, not to mention a bit overweight (5'2", 144lbs), so I know that the exercise will help me in the long run, but the initial discomfort always drives me away. I never see anybody ever having fun while exercising, but everyone says it feels great after a while. That just makes me feel decieved! Plus, feeling sore for days after working out just once makes me feel even less like working out, because that means I'd be sore everyday! And losing weight doesn't even start to show for weeks, which makes me feel discouraged even more. I know I'm just working against myself, but I'd be thankful if someone could convince me of how wrong I am. Help me change my mind about being active!

I dropped out of high school (well, graduated early) because I had social anxiety. Just make sure that you let your upper and lower muscles rest 48hrs after you do each one. It seems to me like your muscle building schedule is good. I would just be careful on how much cardio. Maybe you should do cardio every other day considering that you have soccer practice everyday. But it seems to me like this is a very healthy workout. Also, yes your muscles do grow when they rest. You tear them down when you are working out and then your body rebuilds them up stronger while you rest.

I downloaded a version of Oddworld Abe's Exoddus online, and It works fine. I've actually already beaten it at least once, and it brings back so many memories of the old Playstation version I used to play. But one thing that I noticed is that there are no FMV sequences in the game. When I do something that triggers an FMV, there is no video, it just continues on with the game as though nothing happened. When I hit "Show me what happened" at the beginning, it just takes me back to that screen. Most people will have an odd period at some time or the other the darker blood is just blood that has aged so it is a bit older the fresher blood tends to be brighter red. The soreness is a bit unusual but if it is not to bad I would just wait and see. I didn't get my period for 5 days now. I have never been delayed since. I tried first response pregnancy test to check if i'm positive. Unfortunately, it's negative. But I was wondering if i did the test properly. Do we need to fill up the cup provided with urine or a small urine sample will do? I only have a small sample of urine in the cup. What I did is I just tip the cup so that the urine will touch the maximum level line provided in the strip. Do I need to retest? And hopefully get a positive result?

Avenged Sevenfold concert cancelled?!?!?

OK so i was supposed to see Avenged Sevenfold in concert TONIGHT at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD. It is their only scheduled US tour date and is COMPLETELY sold out. But apparently the lead singer has a m on his vocal chords and it got irritated so they have to surgically remove it. most fish don't need an air filter. i've never even heard of an air filter and i have lots of tanks going and all are healthy. head down to your local pet store and get a canister filter. they run quietly and make a little water fall that aggitates the waters surface to let oxygen disolve. then you just have to clean the biofilter part of it once in a blue moon in dirty tank water and change the carbon cartridge monthly. just make sure you condition the water and cycle the tank(this takes several weeks) before adding fish and you will be all good. also small frequent water changes dont' stress the fish if you do it carefully and refill the tank with conditioned water that is as close to the tanks temp as you can get it. i do weekly water changes but for some tanks every other week is good.
