Is it legal to have the spotlight on a Crown Vic Police Interceptor?

I live in Michigan and i bough an 03 crown vic p71. Sweet car, but i dont want to get pulled over for having a spotlight. I only have one, and its on the drivers side. I dont use it at all while driving, only on a two track on my property so i dont hit my dogs. People here say its ok, but i wanna make double sure. Thanks for your help.
