Who is king solomon and whats his connection with ethiopia?

He was affiliated with the Queen of Sheba who ruled Ethiopia and some parts of Eritrea. The extent of their relationship is disputed but some sources state that the two had a child who was born in Eritrea (which was then part of Ethiopia). The child was Menelik I and was King of Axum (ie. Ethiopia).
